Opportunities From: Milwaukee Irish Fest

Volunteer: SAINT PATRICK'S DAY PARADE: CelticMKE Unit - March 14, 2026

First 25 volunteers to sign up get an official Milwaukee Irish Fest stocking hat!

What are we doing? Walking in the Saint Patrick's Day Parade and representing CelticMKE and Milwaukee Irish Fest

Where are we meeting? Milwaukee Irish Fest is Unit 86.  We will meet on Phillips Avenue East between Wisconsin Avenue and Michigan Avenue. MAP

What time should I be there? Between 11-11:15AM.  The parade folks ask that all units be assembled in their designated areas by 11:30am as the parade kicks off at noon. There will be parade volunteers to help direct you if you get lost! 

How long is the route? Approximately 1.25 miles

Can I bring my dog? Yes!

What do I wear? Dress appropriately for the weather, hand and feet warmers are recommended. If you have CelticMKE/Irish Fest gear that will fit over coats, you can wear that as well. And any fun Irish paraphernalia is appropriate! (think silly hats, shamrock sunglasses, etc.!) Of course wear comfortable shoes for walking!

Where should I park? Anywhere nearby the starting area as there will be shuttles to escort folks back to the starting area. Please note you are responsible for your parking. We will parking options as we get closer to the event.

Volunteer: Pirate Paddy Volunteer - 2026

Pirate Paddy is a fun and easy activity for all ages. We staff locations across the festival grounds and our shifts range from 3-4 hours always in a shaded location with seating. This job is perfect for families and anyone who wishes to volunteer. Kids under the age of 13 may volunteer with their parent or guardian, ages 13-17 may volunteer on their own with a signed permission slip from their parent or guardian, and ages 18 and up can simply sign up. During your shift you will be provided with water and admission to the festival. Your responsibilities will include stamping passports and leading simple crafts. More information will be given following sign up or upon request. 

*All those under 18 must submit a permission slip. 

*All children 12 and under MUST have a patent or guardian volunteering with them.
