Volunteer: Gate 6 - 2026Our main job is to scan the tickets or badges of people entering Irishfest at Gate 6. These people can consist of other volunteers, VIP's, vendors, employees, entertainers, paying customers, Summerfest personnel, security and emergency personnel. We issue hand stamps to people who leave the fest but wish to come back later in the day. We are also in charge of the "volunteer will call" tickets that have been previously reserved for people. We are Irishfest's first impression to many people, so a friendly and outgoing personality is a plus. Located on the edge of the Lakefront Brewery Stage we can enjoy the acts that perform during our shifts. We have a great family and ADA friendly area with positions for everyone to enjoy. There are positions that do not require handling money, or alcohol. Looking for community service hours we will also validate your forms. On the job training is provided and we welcome all skill levels. Responsibilities: Dessert prep: plating or placing food on trays for serving Serving and cashiering Stocking condiment tables Beverage servers - making the beverages, refilling containers Cleaning tables, trays Qualifications: Must be able to stand Friendly and customer focused Ability to carry and serve weighted trays and boxes of desserts or case of water Wear comfortable clothes and shoesProgram: Tipperary Tea Room Area overview:

We staff locations across the festival grounds and our shifts range from 3-4 hours always in a shaded location with seating. This job is perfect for families and anyone who wishes to volunteer. Kids under the age of 13 may volunteer with their parent or guardian, ages 13-17 may volunteer on their own with a signed permission slip from their parent or guardian, and ages 18 and up can simply sign up. During your shift you will be provided with water and admission to the festival. Your responsibilities will include stamping passports and leading simple crafts. More information will be given following sign up or upon request. *All those under 18 must submit a permission slip. *All children 12 and under MUST have a patent or guardian volunteering with them.
