South Gate

We are a group of volunteers, young and old, who enjoy meeting and getting to know a multitude of different people. We are Irishfest's first impression to many people, so a friendly and outgoing personality is a plus.

Our main job is to scan the tickets of people entering the fest. These people can consist of other volunteers, but mostly Irish Fest visitors.  We keep a running count of attendance by using turnstiles and a hand clicker. We issue hand stamps to people who leave the fest but wish to come back later in the day.
