Who We Are
The Irish Currach Club of Milwaukee is a group of boating enthusiasts that enjoy rowing and racing Ireland’s historical Currach. Our group, our supporters, and volunteers come from different backgrounds and age ranges.
What We Do
You don’t have to know about the Currach to volunteer with us! We provide a FAQ sheet about our boat and club to help answer any questions you might get asked. Saturday’s shift is action packed during Milwaukee’s Regatta, hosting many cities from the East Coast. Our shifts are 2 hours long so you can help out AND enjoy the festival as well. You can sit during your shift so can rest your feet, we are also wheelchair accessible.
A great opportunity to meet and chat with many fest goers about Ireland’s maritime history and traditions!
